Pasadena Chalk Festival – a Family Friendly Event

There is nothing like seeing images jump out at you from the pavement. Pictures so lifelike you would swear they were real, yet upon closer inspection you can see all it is is a fine dust of chalk. That is what makes the Pasadena Chalk Fesitival such a draw for residents and artists. Located at the Paseo Colorado outdoor shopping center it was a beautiful venue to hold such a special tradition for Pasadena.

The hubby was almost as excited as I was to see these masterpieces. And the festival did not disappoint!

Some of the great artwork

Despite the crowds we had an amazingly fun time but the biggest hit for Little Man was the live music. He has had an obsession with guitars and drums lately and he became mesmerized by the Spanish guitar.

The festival goes until Sunday evening so stop by and see some of the finished artwork!
