So I’ve Been a Little MIA…

Baby Wilkinson take two

But with good reason. We are happy to announce WE’RE PREGNANT with baby #2! We couldn’t be more thrilled that Little Man will have a baby sister or brother come February 2013. This first trimester has really kicked my butt. I don’t recall being this nauseous with the last pregnancy and the exhaustion is even worse with a VERY active 2 year old to chase after. I am slowly getting my energy back and as long as I keep snacking the nausea seems to stay at bay. I never thought I would say this but I am so sick of eating I wish I never had to again!

So for all my Mom friends out there feel free to offer tips, tricks and of course hand me downs (maternity and otherwise). It’s amazing how much you forget from one pregnancy to another.  I’m looking forward to sharing my journey with you all as the belly gets bigger and bigger! ; )

  8. Congrats! That’s awesome news!!! I had horrific nausea with both my pregnancies… bad I was put on meds since water wouldn’t stay down. But what helped the most is what you are doing, snacking, and ginger tea…that helped too. For some reason the morning sickness was worse the second time with me too.

  9. I’m so happy for you Kate ,John & Evan too !! Can’t wait to see you & your little baby grow !! I can remember being so tired with my first & then being so sick with the second !! Just a few things that helped me when I was pregnant. With my exhaustion I tried to eat some kind of red meat because of the red blood cells it helped to meds my energy up & helped to developed my babies brain & spinal cord !! For my nausea I eat fruit hard candy !! Hope it might help !! Keeping you in my prayers as your family grows !! : )

  10. Congratulations on the little bun in the oven!!
