Although I love where I live it can feel a bit cramped at times. Then again that’s what you get for a well established city with a home built in 1920. When I was first asked to visit Valencia all I knew about it was that it was home to Magic Mountain. To my surprise I found so much more.
Newhall Land, developer and master planner of Valencia, stayed true to their word of creating a better way of life to those that live and work there. From entertainment and dining to nature and recreation you will never be short of something to do. The neighborhoods, quality education and thriving business community make Valencia’s draw to hopeful homeowners irresistible.
Villa Metro, the third home development installment, was built by The New Home Company and brings together personal and professional aspects of life to create a village community. Located directly across from the Metrolink you are a short train ride into downtown Los Angeles making commuting a breeze. What I really loved about the whole development was their attention to detail and forward thinking. Each home is customizable and the main street will feature live-work loft style homes with apartments on top and retail space available on the bottom. This new style of living is called “Light Professional.” Can you imagine having a coffee shop or hairstylist right across the street and run by your neighbor? Sounds like the wave of the future to me! This is small business at it’s best.
It’s almost enough to get us to move…almost. 😉
